Rights Protection
The staff of the Burke Center is committed to providing services in
a manner which preserves dignity and basic human rights. Consumers,
families, representatives or advocates of a consumer, or concerned
citizens who have a complaint, comment or suggestion regarding the
health, safety, welfare, or legal and human rights of an individual
receiving services is urged to place a call,
use our online form, or submit concerns in

Continuous Public Involvement
Burke Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality of care
issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
If you have any concerns about the care provided or safety at Burke
Center, you are encouraged to discuss this with the program manager.
You may also discuss your concerns with the Burke Center Rights
Protection Officer. If your concerns cannot be resolved at these
levels, you are encouraged to contact JCAHO. Please note that JCAHO
will only take complaints in writing.
